Craig Povoas launched Burger & Beyond in 2015 from a Citroen H van with no restaurant experience and a single-minded focus on dry-aged, home-reared beef. A first permanent restaurant followed in Shoreditch in 2018, the brand has since expanded to Borough Yards, Soho and Manchester, and a British Burger Awards Outstanding Achievement came in 2025 at their Soho site.
