Le Cordon Bleu-trained chef Mary Yoon founded Kokodoo in 2016 from a single food truck at Broadgate Circle, building a Korean fried chicken concept for London's office-worker lunch crowd before winning the British Street Food Awards Central Heats in 2019. The brand has since expanded into franchise territory and opened a flagship restaurant in Fulham in early 2026.
